AUGUST 21 - 24, 2008, CANAAN, NY TREATING OUR EVERYDAY TRIGGERS August 21 - 24, 2008, Canaan, NY (begins with dinner Thursday, ends with lunch Sunday)
Description TopThis retreat is just for you. It’s time to turn all that attention and focus you’ve been lavishing on your clients toward yourself, time to give yourself the healing opportunity you’ve been postponing all year, time for you to grow and develop even more. What are the things that upset, anger, hurt, or scare you in your everyday life? These are the triggers that can move you quickly from a good space to a darker one, the stuff that spoils the day, week, month, or year. This retreat offers the opportunity for you to find and treat your triggers under Asha’s gentle guidance. The retreat will begin with a brief talk about the dynamics of triggers. After you understand them, you will have plenty of time to work in pairs to root out all the triggers you want to root out permanently. You can work with your AIT buddy if you like, or someone else, even someone you don’t already know. It’s up to you. This will be a real retreat, a sanctuary in which to work on your issues, and to regenerate in whatever way works best for you. There will be optional Svaroopa yoga classes (you’ve just got to try this if you haven’t already!) and group meditation, swimming, hiking, or time to simply watch the birds and listen to the waterfall over the rocks. It’s a healing weekend that is entirely for you, something you can’t get anywhere else, with Asha to help you on your journey in the midst of summer lushness. Can you afford not to come?
